BoatBites isn’t just making things easier for boaters—we’ve also built a brand-new experience for the people making deliveries on the water.
Our new BoatBites Delivery Driver app is designed specifically for drivers who pick up orders on shore and deliver them directly to customers on their boats.
If you own a jet ski and have some free time—or know someone who does—this could be a great way to earn money while spending time on the water.
A New App Built Just for BoatBites Drivers
Previously, boaters and drivers shared the same BoatBites app. Now, each has an app designed specifically around what they need.
For drivers, that means delivery tools are front and center, navigation is designed for the water, and important driver updates are easier to find.
Here’s what’s new.
An App of Their Own
The BoatBites Delivery Driver app is dedicated entirely to making deliveries.
Drivers no longer have to navigate screens and features intended for customers. Everything they need to accept, manage, and complete deliveries is right where it should be.
Navigation Built for the Water
Finding a customer on the water isn’t quite the same as finding a house on a street.
BoatBites uses marine routing and geofencing to help drivers locate customers who may be anchored, drifting, relaxing at a sandbar, or tucked into a cove.
It’s technology built around the realities of boatside delivery.
Insurance Options Built Into the Process
Drivers who don’t already have their own qualifying coverage can access a daily insurance option through the app.
By tapping “I Acknowledge,” eligible drivers can sign up for daily coverage. The applicable fee is deducted from that day’s earnings and applies while the driver is online.
Drivers who already carry marine insurance can use their own policy instead. Simply email proof of coverage to [email protected] for review and approval before making your first delivery.
Driver-Only Updates
With separate apps for boaters and drivers, communication is simpler too.
BoatBites drivers can receive information specifically relevant to them, including schedules, reminders, operational updates, and delivery news—without customer-focused messages getting in the way.
Turn Your Time on the Water Into Extra Income
BoatBites is continuing to grow, and our drivers are an important part of bringing boatside delivery to more communities.
Requirements can vary depending on the market, and we walk every new driver through the requirements and signup process.
If you—or someone you know—owns a jet ski and wants to earn extra money on the water, check out BoatBites and learn more about becoming a delivery driver.
Your next weekend on the water could pay for itself.
