What is BoatBites?

BoatBites is a tech-savvy, innovative, and much-needed service that delivers hot food, ice-cold drinks, and essential supplies directly to your boat. Ordering is a breeze – just open the app, choose your items, and we’ll deliver to your boat within an hour. Fresh food, cold drinks, and zero docking drama.

How Does BoatBites Work?

It’s simple: download the app, browse menus, place your order, and relax. Our Bite Squad will bring your delivery straight to you on the water. We deliver meals, beverages, and even diapers because hunger isn’t the only emergency!

Is There A BoatBites Mobile App?

Yes! You can download the BoatBites app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. The app lets you order, pay, tip, and track your delivery in real time so boating can finally feel like the carefree, sun-soaked experience it should be.

What is BoatBites and how does it help boaters?

BoatBites is an on-demand delivery service built specifically for boaters. We bring meals, snacks, drinks, and supplies straight to your boat – no docking necessary.

Can I get food delivered to a boat?

Yes! With BoatBites, you can order from local vendors and have your delivery brought directly to your anchored or moored vessel.

How does food delivery to boats work?

Open the app, confirm your boat’s location, browse menus, place your order, and meet your BoatBites driver on the water. It’s that easy.

Where is BoatBites available?

BoatBites is currently available in Sarasota, Anna Maria Island, Longboat Key, and Siesta Key – with expansions coming soon to Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and other locations.

Is BoatBites available in Miami or Fort Lauderdale?

By Memorial Day! Stay updated through the app or our Instagram.

Can I use BoatBites outside of Florida?

We are currently based in Florida, but we plan to expand to other popular boating destinations, including North Carolina and the Gulf Coast, through summer 2025.

How do I place an order with BoatBites?

Just open the app, confirm your boat’s location, choose from available menus, and place your order. You’ll get real-time updates as your delivery makes its way to you.

Do I need to dock my boat?

Nope! Our delivery captains meet you wherever you are – anchored, moored, or lounging at a sandbar.

How long does BoatBites delivery take?

Most orders arrive within 45-75 minutes, depending on your location, weather, and order volume.

What happens if my boat moves after ordering?

You can update your location in the app or contact your BoatBites driver directly for coordination.

What kind of food can I order on a boat?

We offer boat-friendly meals like seafood, sandwiches, tacos, charcuterie, picnic packs, snacks, and cold drinks – perfect for the water. See what is close by!

Is tipping required?

Tipping is optional but greatly appreciated. 100% of your tip goes directly to your delivery captain.

What if something goes wrong with my order?

If there’s an issue, report it directly through the app or email us at support@boatbites.app

Is there a delivery fee?

Yes – delivery fees are based on distance and delivery zone. All charges are clearly shown before checkout.

When can I use the BoatBites service?

BoatBites operates from morning to early evening, seven days a week, in active locations listed in the app and on the website. In Spring 2025, we launch Florida’s west coast (Anna Maria Island through Tampa) and the east coast (Port St. Lucie through Miami), with further expansion to sandbars and lakes in northern states coming this summer. Can I cancel or change my order after I've placed it?

Forgot the drinks? No problem! You can modify your order up to 45 minutes before your scheduled delivery time. Changes or cancellations after that point are treated as a new order, so be sure to review carefully before placing it.

What weather conditions do you deliver in?

We deliver rain or shine, but not during lightning or unsafe weather. If conditions pose a risk to customers or crew, we may delay or suspend service. You’ll be notified of any changes and will not be charged if your delivery is canceled for safety reasons.

Can I track my order?

Yes! You can track your BiteSquad driver’s progress live in the app. Keep an eye out for that pink delivery bag full of boat-day joy.

Can I contact my delivery agent?

Yes. You can message or call your driver using the contact information provided in the app. Please use this only for urgent delivery updates.

How do I pay?

Payment and tipping are handled directly in the app. Just head to checkout and choose your preferred method.

Can we pay via cash?

Our drivers will always graciously accept tips in cash. However, your order must be paid via credit or with a debit card on the BoatBites app.

Do you deliver to charter boats or large parties?

Yes! Hosting a party on the water? Place an order for 10 or more people online, and we’ll deliver to your boat at the requested time. We require at least 24 hours’ notice for large orders or charter boat events. It’s like having a private chef – only ours shows up on a jet ski with tacos.

I have a complaint. How do I share it?

If something didn’t meet your expectations, we want to fix it. Please email us at WeMessedUp@BoatBites.app, and we’ll follow up quickly.

How can I stop receiving messages from BoatBites?

We’ll miss you! But if you need to unsubscribe, just click the link at the bottom of our emails or reply STOP to our texts. You can also email Help@BoatBites.app to be removed from our mailing list.

If it safe to receive deliveries on the water?

Yes. Our BiteSquad delivery captains are trained to approach your boat carefully in safe, no-wake zones. We follow safety protocols to ensure smooth and secure hand-offs on the water.

Are taxes and gratuity included in the price?

Taxes are calculated based on your location and shown at checkout. Tips are not included by default but can be added during checkout in the app. 100% of tips go directly to your delivery captain.

Is there a minimum order amount?

Minimum order amounts may vary depending on the vendor and your location. If your cart doesn’t meet the minimum, you’ll be notified before checkout.

Do deliveries come with utensils, napkins, or ice?

Most vendors include basic items like napkins and utensils. If you’d like extras like cups, ice, or cooler packs, please mention it in the notes section when placing your order.

Do I need to create an account to order?

Yes, a free BoatBites account is required to place an order. This allows us to track your order, notify you of updates, and deliver directly to your boat’s location.

What if GPS isn't showing my exact location?

You can adjust your GPS pin manually in the app. For best results, include any helpful details (such as boat name, color, or nearby landmarks) in your order notes so your delivery captain can find you quickly.
